Touchy Feely wins the Supreme Award at Pride in Print 2022

Touchy Feely wins the Supreme Award at Pride in Print 2022

At B&F we couldn't be prouder of our Rives promotion, Touchy Feely, for winning the Supreme Award at the Pride in Print Awards 2022. This is a fantastic outcome for us and the team at Logick Print and Fuman Design who did an incredible job from begining to end.

Below are some comments from the judges posted on the Pride in Print Awards website:

"This is a job that draws the same comment of ‘fantastic’ from everyone who looks at it.

The combined elements of Prepress - involving PDF proof plates, foil blocks and emboss blocks, Production - a print offset mix of four-colour process, PMS spot colours, matt seal, hot foil stamping, embossing and blind debossing throughout, and Finishing - involving cover creasing, job hand-assembly and glued in house,.are all faultless/seamless.

There are foils, bright inks, perforating stamp work, binding, creasing and assembly.

The whole thing is technically superb, sharp and beautiful".

Pop'Set Promotion: Colour your World

Pop'Set Promotion: Colour your World

Design with purpose. A format that strikes the perfect balance of playful and functional. This is 'Colour your World'.

Colours have the magical attribute of creating narratives without words and Colour your World can help you create your own. Showcasing the full family of our Pop'Set range at any one time but allowing for each individual colour to shine.

A die-cut shape on the cover, revealing the layers of paper underneath, organising the colours on a spectrum for ease of navigation.

As you turn over the pages, you will find two pages per colour with different weights. We have mixed these so you can also check the thickness that this range has to offer, to make it easier for you when choosing the right one for your next project. Take your time to go through it. Check the contrasts, see how each colour relates to the colour that comes next and be ready to smile.

Remembering Touchy Feely: Rives Range Promotion

Remembering Touchy Feely: Rives Range Promotion

Around a year ago we were delighted with 'Touchy Feely' our full Rives range promotion and today we want to bring back those memories!

Rives has always been known for its traditional textures and colours that project elegance and sophistication. Our last addition to the Rives collection was Rives Laid and we wanted to create a promotion full of contrast and versatility, displaying the different textures and shades combined with premium printing techniques. The results were simply fantastic!

A Gift That Grows To All Our Customers

A Gift That Grows To All Our Customers

At B&F, we thought we would do things a bit differently this year to show our customers how much we appreciate them for working with us, but at the same time to give back to the place we all call home, our beautiful Aotearoa!

That’s why on behalf of our customers, we have donated native trees that will be planted all along New Zealand with the help of our friends from Trees That Count. These trees represent your part in growing and protecting New Zealand for future generations.

B&F has been delighted to deliver kiwi value to the New Zealand market for the 91st year and together we are now making our native forests bigger while mitigating the effects of climate change!

Lessons from a tree:
Stay grounded
Connect with your roots
Turn over a new leaf
Bend before you break
Enjoy your unique natural beauty
and Keep growing!

Our Eurotak products go one step further with new recyclable packaging

Our Eurotak products go one step further with new recyclable packaging

At B&F, we are eco-friendly oriented, therefore we support and celebrate accomplishments from our suppliers and customers that have a positive impact in the long run for our planet, that´s why we are thrilled to share with you an amazing initiative that Lecta, our supplier of Eurotak, has been implementing for the last year. They have developed a plastic-free wrapper for sheet products. This means that B&F is delivering to our customers Eurotak products in a new recyclable wrapping that facilitates its recycling process, minimizing the environmental impact and reducing its associated waste management costs. This solution will help Lecta further reduce 94.5 Tons of CO2 emissions and waste disposal of 27 Tons of plastic per year, being a fantastic achievement for the environment.

The bottom line to all our customers is that all the Eurotak products that we offer to the NZ market are maintaining the same quality by Lecta but in more sustainable and efficient packaging, and that is great news for all of us.

With less plastic and more paper, we're all better able to protect our products and our environment!
